The venue

 

The venue of ENQA's General Assembly is the palace of the Royal Academy of Belgium. The palace was built between 1823 and 1828 in neoclassicist style.
During the United Kingdom of the Netherlands (1815 - 1830) it was the seat of the Prince of Orange.

The building has been renovated thorougly between 1859 and 1862 and even became the museum for the modern arts for a while.

The Royal Academy's palace is located in the heart of the Belgian government, next to the royal palace and the Belgian parliament.
